Aging and Independence Services is putting on an
Elder Fraud Mini Series from 9/5 to 9/8

Seniors are increasingly being targeted by scammers looking for financial gain. From
grandparent and romance scams to phony utility company demands, elder fraud is increasing in our community and across the nation.

We’re proud to partner with the FBI San Diego Citizens Academy Alumni Association and San Diego Seniors Community Foundation to support the in spreading the message to be aware and report scams. Join us on September 5th-8th at location near you, for a free information session with an FBI Special Agent. Find out about common elder fraud schemes, the signs and symptoms of elder fraud, and what law enforcement is doing to protect seniors and prosecute scammers.

AARP is hosting a Classic Board Game Day

Join AARP, the proud sponsor of Ageless Innovation's Reach Out and Play initiative, for an afternoon of play with classic board games—reimagined. Have fun through the power of play with Joy for All™ games like, The Game of Life Generations, Scrabble Classic, and Trivial Pursuit Generations. Bring your family and friends and create meaningful social connections together through the power of play.

• You and up to two (2) guests will have the option to play one (1) of the Joy for All™ board games.

About the Games

These redesigned classic board games include new features such as easy-to-grasp game pieces, increased font size, and trivia that cater to players across generations.
