Early History on the County Administration Center

The County Administration Center on Pacific Highway is an iconic San Diego government building. In the early 1900s, architect John Nolen envisioned a civic building as part of something much larger: a public corridor extending east all the way to Balboa Park, along what is today Cedar Street.
